There are many types of engineers. They could range from a combination of three major career opportunities, their major, their functions, and industrial sectors. The variety of majors include:biomedical, civil, aerospace, mechanical, and more. Each one of the majors have a variety of functions.These functions range from design, research, production, technical support, and others. To narrow the field even more, there is the industry in which the engineer would work in. Some of these industries include medical, energy, construction, and transportation, just to name a few.
